South Commander of the American Army visits CCOPAB

Aiming at strengthening the bonds with the South Army of the United States, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) received on March 13 the visit of Major General Mark R. Stammer, Commander of the South Army of the USA, together with Chilean MG Edmundo Villarroel, Interoperational Deputy Commander of the South Army, CSM William M. Rinehart, Assistant of the Commander of the South Army of the U.S., besides other representatives of the American Army.

Lieutenant General William Georges Felippe, Chief of the International Affairs of the Brazilian Army, as well as other Brazilian Army members escorted the American delegation.

The delegation had the chance to learn the overarching mission of CCOPAB and the activities that are carried out by means of a lecture delivered by Colonel Machado, the Center’s Commander. They were also invited to meet the facilities of the Center and watch a class of the Military Experts on Mission Course.
