International Relations students visit CCOPAB
On June 13, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) received the visit of undergraduate students from the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro.
The visit was an opportunity to strengthen bonds with the academia and also to show the students, by means of practical activities, the tasks CCOPAB carries out regarding peace missions and the preparation of Brazilian and foreign peacekeepers.
The students watched an institutional lecture and participated in a simulated negotiation. They could also experience the difficulties that blue helmets face by means of a demonstration at the shooting simulator of the Center.
