CCOPAB participates in LAAD Defence & Security Seminar
The Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) was present in the 5th Latin America Aerospace and Defence (LAAD) seminar, which was held from 4 to 7 of April, at Riocentro in Rio de Janeiro. On April 5, CCOPAB’s commander, colonel Ramires, delivered a lecture on “Peace Operations: the evolution of the Armed Forces in new operations”.
During the lecture, Colonel Ramires showed the audience the current environment of the United Nations Peace Missions, the Brazilian participation overseas and the mission carried out by CCOPAB regarding the training of personnel designated to peace missions.
