CCOPAB participates in the Advanced Drill for PKO of BRABATT - 2/15
Caçapava-SP. The Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (acronym in Portuguese: CCOPAB) carried out the Advanced Drill for PKO of BRABATT 2/15 from 03 to 12 of August, 2011.
The exercise aims at assessing the selected personnel to compose BRABATT in planning and carrying out the tasks attributed by the Command of a Multidimensional Peace Force in its respective areas of responsibility (AOR).
The Exercise Direction, constituted by members of CCOPAB, coordinated the incidents in the facilities of the 6th Light Infantry Battalion (Caçapava- SP) with the support of military from other units, academia from several areas and media professionals inserted in the context of the exercise (simulation of ordinary activities and operations carried out in Haiti).
Many interventions occurred during the period of the exercise, best practices were checked out and BRABATT 2/15 General Staff evaluated more complex procedures and activities in the environment of Multidimensional Peacekeeping Operations.
