CCOPAB celebrates Brazilian Navy´s Data Magna and promotion of military personnel
On June 11, 1865, fearless Brazilian people led one of the most important deeds of the Brazilian history: the victory of the Battle of Riachuelo, That battle was decisive for the favorable end of the War of the Triple Alliance.
In order to celebrate the Brazilian Navy´s Data Magna for the 146th Anniversary of the Battle of Riachuelo, the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (acronym in Portuguese: CCOPAB) accomplished a ceremony on June 13 which also celebrated the chevron and epaulette exchange of military personnel of the Navy stationed at CCOPAB. This celebration counted on the presences of those personnel´s family members. The promoted personnel in their new ranks are:
- Warrant Officers (Marines) Vagner Siqueira and Zeuler Fernandes da Silva;
- First Sergeants (Marines) Robson James Maurício Coutinho and -João Luiz da Costa;
- Second Sergeants (Marines) Alexandre Menezes de Lima, César da Silva Ribeiro ADN Sérgio de Souza Dias.
