CCOPAB starts off the Civil-Military Coordination Course
From 14 to 18 September, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) carries out the second 2015 Civil-Military Coordination Course (CIMIC), which aims at preparing the military personnel who will execute activities related to the Civil Affairs System, with emphasis on the UN Civil-Military Coordination of the 23rd CONTBRAS/MINUSTAH (Brazilian Battalion, Brazilian Engineering Company and Marines Company), as well as officers from friendly nations and members of the academia.

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - the second edition of the course on Logistics and Reimbursement in UN PKOs for the year 2015 was carried out, from 24 August to 04 September, at the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center, focusing on the preparation of the Brazilian Contingent 23 (CONTBRAS) for the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH).The course had the purpose of qualifying military personnel to manage logistics and personnel in peace operations.
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - On 02 September 2015, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) received the visit of 60 students and 05 instructors of the Armor Advanced Course - EsAO.
