CCOPAB instructor opens the V International Congress of ABRATES

 DSC1367On Saturday, September 20, 2014, CPT ISRAEL, translator, interpreter and instructor to the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), gave the opening lecture of the V International Congress of Translation and Interpretation of the Brazilian Association of Translators and Interpreters (ABRATES - acronym in Portuguese), at the Brazilian College of Surgeons, Botafogo, Rio de Janeiro.

CCOPAB carries out Civil-Military Coordination Course

IMG 1806From September 15 to 19, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) carried out the second edition of the 2014 Civil-Military Coordination (CIMIC) Course.
Besides sharing information on the participation of our Armed Forces in Peace Operations and on support in natural disasters with the civilian participants, the objective of the course was to prepare the military personnel who will work with CIMIC in the 21st Brazilian Contingent in Haiti.

Military Personnel will be on the streets of Santa Maria to simulate situations before boarding to Haiti

IMG 4796Military personnel of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), located in Rio de Janeiro, met this Thursday (Sept 11), in the Alpha Auditorium of the 6th Armored Infantry Brigade, with several municipal, state and of public security organizations of Santa Maria - RS. The purpose of the meeting was to invite them to actively participate in the preparation phase of the 21st Brazilian Contingent to be sent to the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH).

War College delegation visits CCOPAB

IMG 1613On September 8th, CCOPAB received the visit of 73 students of the Course on International Political and Strategic Studies (CAEPE, acronym in Portuguese), from the War College, aiming to know the preparation of contingents and individual missions for UN peace missions.

CCOPAB carries out the Course on Logistics and Reimbursement in PKOs

29 AGO CTLAVILA MILITAR, RJ – Lasting for two weeks – from 25 August to 5 September – and having 11 soldiers from the Navy, 29 from the Army and 02 from the Air Force, totaling 42 students, the 2014 second edition of the Course on Logistics and Reimbursement in PKOs was carried out by the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB).
