On June 12, the military personnel from the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB) took part in a ceremony to celebrate the 82nd birthday of the Brazilian Air Mail (CAN – acronym in Portuguese) and Transport Aviation Day at Afonsos Air Force Base in Rio de Janeiro.
On June 11, the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center celebrated the 148th anniversary of the Naval Battle of Riachuelo, Brazilian Navy's Main Date, in the Sergio Vieira de Mello Cultural Facility. At this opportunity, insignias were granted to the recently promoted and the Order of the Day of the Navy Commander, Squadron Admiral Julio Soares de Moura Neto, was read.
On 07 June, the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center carried out a ceremony to deliver berets to the new recruits of the current year. Families and friends of the privates were present at the ceremony.
FFrom May 31 to June 02, CDR Leonardo Azeredo, CPT Ana Cardoso and CPT Israel, members of the Division of Translators and Interpreters (DTI) of the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB) took part in the IV INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF TRANSLATION AND INTERPRETATION OF ABRATES (Brazilian Association of Translators) in the city of Belo Horizonte – MG.
On May 29, 2013, the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB) celebrated the UN International Peacekeepers' Day. Although the celebration is in reference to May 29, 1948, the day on which the first United Nations peacekeeping mission was established, at that moment on Palestine territory, only in 2003 this date started to be celebrated as the UN International Peacekeepers' Day.
On May 27, the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center started off the third phase of the Course for Military Experts on Mission, Staff Officers and UNPOL 2013.2 (EPMP), which will last until June 21, 2013.
