The Division of Translators and Interpreters from CCOPAB receives Civil Servant Rafaela Araújo Jordão Rigaud Peixoto
On April 10, 2012, the Civil Servant Rafaela Araújo Jordão Rigaud Peixoto, translator of the Division of Aeronautical Information Service of the Aeronautical Cartography Institute (DSIA/ICA), visited the Division of Translators and Interpreters from CCOPAB. The idea of the visit was to deepen the professional exchange concerning the terms used in several areas in order to solve possible differences and to support the opportunities of improvement. The activities started with the transmission of information and material developed by the Division of Translators and Interpreters and by DSIA/ICA, including the presentation of courses and other activities carried out by CCOPAB. Later, Ms Rafaela visited the facilities of the Center, including Sergio Vieira de Mello Cultural Center where she could check the themes of the exhibition and watch an instruction given in the auditorium as part of the Course for Journalists in Conflict Areas. Ms. Rafaela was impressed by the activities developed in the Center and reiterated the invitation to the Division of Translators and Interpreters to visit the ICA as a retribution to the friendly journey of learning and exchange of experiences.
