Course for Peacekeeping Operations – 2nd week

On October 13, 14 and 15, the instructions of the Course for Peacekeeping Operations were carried out at a fast pace, with the participation of several guest instructors.

The students of the Course for Peacekeeping Operations were divided according to the specificity of their missions and received specific instructions.

The UNMO received instructions on Patrolling, Crater Analysis, UNMO Basic Procedures, Inspection and Verification, Observation Procedures, UNPOL, Map Reading, GPS and Land Navigation, Investigation, Foreign Weapons Handling.

The UNPOL attended instructions on Human Rights Standards in Search, Arrest and Detention, Core Business of UNPOL and Key Partners, Community Policing, Report Writing, UNPOL in HAITI Overview, UNPOL in EAST TIMOR Overview, Map Reading, GPS and Land Navigation, Management of Bodies in Situations of Disasters and Catastrophes, Human Rights Standards in Search, Arrest and Detention and Due Process, Foreign Weapons Handling.

The Staff Officers, on the other hand, had instructions on the UN Mission HQ Structure, U3, U5 and JOC, Planning Process, Staff Duties and Responsibilities.
