CCOPAB welcomes MG Vergara, Director of Military Technical Education

Rio de Janeiro (RJ). On 17 November, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), Sergio Vieira de Mello Center, welcomed MG Rodrigo Pereira VERGARA, Director of Military Technical Education (DETMIL, acronym in Portuguese). This second DETMIL visit (VSE, acronym in Portuguese) was part of the Educational Supervision Program of 2020.

After military honors, there was a military parade. Then, CCOPAB officers officially saluted MG Vergara; next, CCOPAB commander delivered a lecture on the mission, history and capabilities of CCOPAB - a military unit directly subordinate to DETMIL.

MG Vergara visited the facilities of the Joint Center such as the Language Lab; also, he could have a glimpse of two ongoing CCOPAB courses: UN Logistics and Reimbursement and UN CPoC.

At the end of the activity, MG Vergara signed CCOPAB’s book of honors and was again saluted by the officers of the Joint Center as he left.
