CCOPAB carries out ToT to balance knowledge and experience on UN contingent training

Rio de Janeiro - RJ. From 05 to 09 October, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center - Sergio Vieira de Mello Center - carried out a ToT in order to balance military knowledge and experience on the UN Pre-Deployment Basic and Advanced Field Exercises, so that instructors and monitors could develop the main skills for such trainings.

The activity was held at the facilities of CCOPAB. Instructors from the Joint Center and guest instructors, holding notorious expertise on the training of troops, fully supported the event. During the week, the ToT provided the target audience with experience sharing, best practice presentations and a guided study.

The Center relied on the following guest instructors: COL Negreiros, from the Command of Military Region/3; COL Félix, from the Command of Eng Group/5; COL Oliveira Ramos, from the Cnst and Eng Department; LTC Bolzan, from the Army HQ Adm Base; LTC Nery, from the Land Ops Command; LTC (Air Force) Rodrigo, from the Air Force Ops Trn and Deployment Unit/9; LTC Nascimento, from the Army Center of Applied Psychology; MAJ Eric, from the Command of Eng Group/5; MAJ Rhobson, from the 16 Mtz Inf Bn; and CPT Teixeira, from the 57 Mtz Inf Bn.
