CCOPAB contributes towards the preparation of military personnel to be deployed to MONUSCO

From 03 to 07 August 2020, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center - Sergio Vieira de Mello Center - supported the mobilization process of nationals who are to work as the Jungle Warfare Training Team (JWTT) when deployed to the UN Organization Stabilization Mission in the DR Congo (MONUSCO).

JWTT members, either from the Army Command or the Air Force, are military personnel with jungle warfare expertise; they will provide MONUSCO Force Intervention Brigade (FIB) with specialized trainings.

As per the directives from the Land Ops Command (COTER, acronym in Portuguese), in addition to mobilization related activities, CCOPAB offered French classes as well as MPP guidance. It is important to highligh the VTCs with LTG Costa Neves - MONUSCO Force Commander and LTC Edelmo - JWTT senior officer, during the week.
