CCOPAB participates in the Public Prosecution School Seminar of the Union
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 13 November, MAJ Christiane Lima, instructor from the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese), took part in the seminar “Affirmation, promotion and protection of human rights in the Armed Forces”, which was carried out by the Public Prosecution School. The event took place in the auditorium of the Federal Military Justice building, located in Ilha do Governador, RJ.
Taking into account the theme “Women in the Armed Forces”, MAJ Christiane Lima gave the lecture “Women's challenges in the military career”. The activity also included the participation of MAJ Márcia Braga (Navy), Military Gender Advisor 2019, as well as MAJ Gisele (Air Force), who joined the first female aviator class.
The assistance was composed of military prosecutors, federal judges from the military justice, lawyers, law students and soldiers from the three forces, in an estimated audience of 100 people.
