CCOPAB takes part in the Military Operations Seminar
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 13 August, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) – Sergio Vieira de Mello Center – took part in the 2nd Seminar on Health Support to Military Operations, whose theme was Health Officer's Work in Peace Missions. The event was promoted by the Army Health School and its audience was the students of the Training Course for Health Service Officers of that school.
COL VET Francisco Augusto Pereira dos Santos, CCOPAB Health Advisor, gave a lecture on Health Support to Military Operations in Brazil and abroad. In his lecture, each activity developed by the health support teams was presented to the audience, which was enriched by two reports of experiences lived during the deployment of two contingent to MINUSTAH.
