Dutch Attaché of Defense visits CCOPAB
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - On 4 April, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) welcomed LCDR Jaap Hubbell Meyer, Dutch Attaché of Defense. The aim of the visit was to get to know CCOPAB and to strengthen the bonds among Brazilian and Dutch military personnel regarding Peace Operations related topics.
After the Dutch attaché was welcomed, he visited CCOPAB facilities and the Haiti Memorial, a tribute to those who died because of the earthquake which hit that country in 2010, as well as Delta camp, where he had the opportunity to be in touch with the Military Experts on Mission Course (EPMP, acronym in Portuguese).
Afterwards, the Dutch attaché of Defense received an institutional token and signed CCOPAB’s book of honour.
