CCOPAB carries out DPO Recruitment and Preparation Course

Rio de Janeiro, RJ – Between 18 and 22 of February, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) carried out the Department of Peace Operations Recruitment and Preparation Course.

The aim of the Course was at evaluating the intellectual skills and emotional control of the attendees by means of an interview simulation, in order to train them to apply for a position in the Department of Peace Operations (DPO) at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, USA.

The Course was entirely held in English and all the candidates could simulate the challenges they will face during the selection process, particularly regarding the oral interview and the English written exam. There was the participation of eight attendees, who are members of the Brazilian Army.
