CCOPAB participates in Staff Officer Course in Argentina
From December 3 to 7, two officers of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) participated of the Staff Officer Course at the Argentine Peace Joint Training Center (CAECOPAZ, acronym in Spanish), in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Lieutenant Commander (Marines) Álvaro Tadeu Ribeiro and Captain Felipe Vaz de Freitas took part in the course as CCOPAB’s representatives.
The Course was entirely held in English and counted on the attendance of 15 officers, being Argentines, Peruvians, Brazilians and Chileans. Among them, there were two female officers from Argentina and they represented the female contribution for UN Peace Missions.
The aim of the course was at increasing the level of knowledge and at developing theoretical and practical skills, which are necessary for officers who have a role in the Staff of UN Peacekeeping Missions.
