CCOPAB takes part in the celebration of the United Nations Day and 70th UNIC Rio Anniversary

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - On 24 October, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center, Sergio Vieira de Mello Center, took part in the celebration of the United Nations Day and 70th UNIC Rio anniversary, at Itamaraty Palace. During the event, there was the inauguration of the auditorium Sergio Vieira de Mello - a UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and the patron of CCOPAB. The following authorities were present at the ceremony: Ambassador Eduardo Prisco Paraiso Ramos - Chief Representative of Itamaraty in Rio de Janeiro, Mr. Maurizio Giuliano - Director of UNIC Rio and Mr. André Simões - nephew and godson of Sergio Vieira de Mello.
