Major General of the Land Operations Command visits CCOPAB
Rio de Janeiro – On July 6, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) received the visit of Major General Kleber Nunes Vasconcellos, Chief of Peace Missions, Aviation and Military Police General Inspector of the Land Operations Command.
The aim of the visit was to show the activities carried out by CCOPAB as well as its syllabus and facilities. Following the rendering of military honors, a unit parade was held and, after that, the General met the officers of the Center.
Colonel Machado, Commander of CCOPAB, delivered an institutional presentation on the tasks which are carried out regarding the preparation of military, police and civilian personnel, Brazilian or from friendly nations, for peace missions and humanitarian demining, under the aegis of international organisms.
At the end of the visit, the General signed the Book of Honor of CCOPAB.
