European Union visits CCOPAB
On February 9, a delegation from the European Union visited the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center. During the visit, Ambassador João Gomes Cravinho accompanied by Minister Estefan Simosas, members of the delegation, learned the unique activities the Center carries out by watching a lecture delivered by the Commander and his staff. They also had the chance to tour the Center’s facilities.
The Ambassador stated that the success of the peace operations in which the Brazilian troops are engaged in is the outcome of the professionalism shown during the pre-deployment phase. He also added that one of the positive aspects of this work is the lack of reports regarding misconduct by our military personnel.
