CCOPAB celebrates its date of creation
On June 15, there was a ceremony to celebrate CCOPAB's date of creation - 15 June 2010.
The ceremony, headed by Colonel Mario Fernandes, 1st Army Division's Chief of Staff, had the presence of Commanders from the Army Military Organizations, of the Commander of the 9th Batallion of Military Police (BPM, acronym in Portuguese), of the Deputy Commander of the 14th BPM and of relatives and friends of the soldiers who are this year's conscripts.
During the event, "CCOPAB's Friend” Certificates to personalities who often support the Center, "Incentivo ao Esporte" (Incentive to Sports) Award to CCOPAB's military personnel, who took part in this year's Rio's Marathon, and berets to the new conscripts who enrolled for the Army military service in 2016 were delivered. At the end of the ceremony, CCOPAB's military personnel paraded in salute to the Chief of Staff.
When the new soldiers received the beret, which represents the conclusion of the first phase of the military instruction, after having overcome tough weeks of instruction and of exercises in the field, it was noticeable the pride emanating from them and from their relatives and friends. Private CARMELO, who distinguished himself during the instruction phase, received his beret from his mother, who was accompanied by the Chief of Staff and by CCOPAB Commander.
