Visit of the Entourage of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Iran
On 28 April 2016, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) received the visit of an entourage from the Islamic Republic of Iran, presided by the Rear Admiral Amir Rastaghari, Executive Director of the Maritime Industry of the Iranian Ministry of Defense.
The visit was carried out to let the entourage be familiar with the activities of CCOPAB. The visit also had the participation of Major General Jorge Antonio Smicelato, Commander of School Support Group and 9th Motorized Infantry Brigade. The Brazilian Ministry of Defense was represented by Colonel Luis Felipe Garcia Fernandes from Secretary of Defense Products and Colonel Igor Sidhartha Boechat from the Section of International Affairs.
