Closing of EPMP 2015

In the morning of October 9, 2015, there was the closing of the Experts on Mission Course (EPMP, acronym in Portuguese) in the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB). The Course was divided into three phases: the first, online; the second, on site at the Personnel Studies Center; and the third, also on site, carried out at CCOPAB. This last phase took place from Sept 14 to Oct 09.

The goal of the EPMP, carried out in English, was to prepare military personnel to act as Staff Officers, Military Observers and UNPol, and included theoretical and practical instructions.

Fifty-one military personnel concluded the course: Thirty-three Brazilians, from whom twenty-two were from the Army, 08 from the Navy and 03 from the Air Force; eleven were from friendly nations, from whom 02 were from Angola, 02 from Senegal, 01 from Namibia, 01 from Ecuador and 01 from Vietnam; and eleven military police officers from Rio Grande do Norte, Amazonas, Distrito Federal, Rio Grande do Sul, Paraná, Paraíba and Rio de Janeiro.
