2015 Media Advisor and Journalist in Conflict Areas Course

 Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On the Friday morning of July 03, there was the end of the 2015 Media Advisor and Journalist in Conflict Areas Course at the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB).
The aim of the course was to prepare media professionals to carry out their functions in hostile environments. Lasting a week, the course had the participation of 35 civilian and military students. The participants could have notions of first aid, progression in risky areas, conduct in collapsed structures, less lethal weapons, fire fighting, among other instructions.
According to journalist and reporter of TV Globo, Ari Peixoto, the course was a unique experience in his professional life: "The course was very interesting; despite all my experience for having lived in Israel, this course is showing me another perspective... and learning is never too much", said the journalist.
