Delegation of the Royal College of Defence Studies of the United Kingdom visits CCOPAB
On June 5, 2015, a delegation of the Royal College of Defence Studies of the United Kingdom visited the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB). The purpose of the visit was to know the work developed by CCOPAB.
The delegation was composed of civilian and military personnel of different nationalities, including Brigadier John Stephen Shirley and Mr. James Hippsley Kidner, both from the United Kingdom.
The delegation was welcomed by Colonel José Ricardo Vendramin Nunes, CCOPAB Commander, who gave an institutional lecture in which he talked about a brief background of CCOPAB's creation, its mission, subordination, organization, teaching/learning methodology and future expectations. He also narrated a background of the participation of Brazil in peace missions.
