CCOPAB closes another edition of the pre-deployment advanced field exercise of the Brazilian Engineering Company
Natal (RN) - On the afternoon of 30 April, the After Action Review (AAR) of the pre-deployment advanced field exercise (EAOP, acronym in Portuguese) was carried out, marking the end of the last preparation phase of the Brazilian Engineering Company (BRAENGCOY) as part of the 22nd Brazilian contingent for the UN Stabilization Mission in Haiti.BRAENGCOY's next activity will be the deployment as of 11 May 15.
During the week of the exercise, from 26 to 30 April, BRAENGCOY carried out activities which simulated the mission scenario in Haiti as boat patrol in the Azuei Lake, road clearance, activation of the contingency plan in case of natural disasters - CONPLAN, transportation of voting ballots, well drilling, aeromedical evacuation, social-civic activities and explosive ordance disposal.
