Exhibition about Marshal Rondon is visited by his relatives
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 26 January, relatives of Marshal Cândido Mariano da Silva Rondon visited the Exhibition "Rondon, the Marshal of Peace", held at Sérgio Vieira de Mello Cultural Facility.
At the exhibition, coordinated by Cultural Productions Civelli Memory and CCOPAB, the descendants of the Marshal could experience, by means of short explanations, documentaries, old pictures, personal belongings of the Marshal, models and scenarios, and a telegraphic demonstration why he was acclaimed " Patron of Communications", and how and why, during his life in the service of the natives, he put into practice the motto: "Die if necessary; but never kill!"
