CCOPAB Starts the works for the Pre-Deployment Advanced Field Exercise in Natal
On 23 October, the commander of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), Colonel José Ricardo Vendramin Nunes, chaired the opening meeting for the works of the direction of the pre-deployment advanced field exercise (EAOP, acronym in Portuguese), to be held in the city of Natal-RN, from 27 to 31 October.
EAOP is part of the preparation of the Brazilian Engineering Company to be deployed in Haiti next December, integrating the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti.
During the exercise, Brazilian military personnel will face situations and activities which are similar to the scenario to be found in Haiti.
