The Joint Staff Course of ESG visits CCOPAB
The students of the Joint Staff Course of the War College visited the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center on October 28, 2013. Lieutenant Colonel Salomão delivered an institutional lecture; followed by Commander Costa Reis, Chief of the Doctrine Division, who talked about the Brazilian participation in Peace Operations.
Afterwards, the delegation visited the Center's facilities, including the Integration Pavilion where they attended a practical instruction about the Training System for the Use of Legal Force (Combat Simulator). Lieutenant Commander Wagner Vinicius was responsible for this instruction which addressed Rules of Engagement. Following this activity and accompanied by Mr. Mário César Cabral Marques, from Memória Civelli Produções Culturais, the students saw the exhibition about the life of Marshall Rondon at Sergio Vieira de Mello Cultural Facility.
Finally, they attended a lecture on the Ministry of Defense and Peace Operations given by Colonel Leonardo, who works at the Subdivision of Operational Logistics of the Ministry of Defense.
