Second day of the 2013/2 CIMIC course
On the second day of the course, the students had the following instructions: OCHA (Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs) and UNCMCoord (United Nations Humanitarian Civil-Military Coordination), delivered by Lieutenant Colonel Albino; UN CIMIC (United Nations Civil-Military Cooperation), delivered by Captain Bione; and at the end of the morning, U9 MINUSTAH (Humanitarian and Civil Affairs Office in the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti), also delivered by Lieutenant Colonel Albino.
In the afternoon, the students had two lectures: the first one, delivered by Major Serejo, about BRABAT G9 (Brazilian Battalion Civil Affairs Office); and the second one, delivered by Mr. Gustavo Barreto from UNIC Rio (United Nations Information Center in Rio), on UN Agencies, fund and programs.
