Third day of the Course for Unit Commanders and Staff (EPCOEM) – BRAENGCOY
On August 7, the apprentices of the Course for Unit Commanders and Staff (EPCOEM) of the 19th Brazilian Engineering Company (BRAENCOY) were introduced to the possibilities and limitations of the Marines Company, of BRABAT and of the UNPOL. These topics were presented respectively by Captain (Marines) Lino, Colonel Rogério Rozas and Major Robson (Military Police of the State of Pernambuco). Still in that morning, guided studies have been started under the direction of Captain Crispim.
In the afternoon, the apprentices attended a lecture by Colonel Batista concerning the topic "The Engineering Cell of MINUSTAH's General Staff – U8". After that, Major General present Commander of the 1st Engineering Group and Commander of the BRAENGCOY/2, presented a short explanation on his experience in the mission in Haiti. Late that afternoon, Lieutenant Colonel Dutra talked about the best practices during BRAENGCOY Command's preparation and deployment. As the last activity of the day, the apprentices participated in integrated studies with Captain Vitor concerning the topic Environmental Management.
