UNPOL taking the EPMP simulates exercises
Inside the Experts on Mission Course (EPMP), happening since May 27 and ending on June 21, the military police officers who will work as United Nations Police (UNPOL) are on the field operating in different situations (exercises). Among the incidents (simulations), the one below can be highlighted:
"A couple arrives at the Police Station to complain about explosive devices found inside their crop. They bring the unexploded device to the station. This device is then taken to a safe place. The police officers follow the couple to their land and check the area. An explosive ordnance disposal team is called to take care of the devices found. The patrol is sent to visit the Local Police Station, to monitor and check the general conditions of work and how they treat the prisoners. Several problems and violations of human rights are found and reported."
