CCOPAB MILITARY PERSONNEL TAKE PART IN THE IV INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF TRANSLATION AND INTERPRETATION OF ABRATES
From May 31 to June 02, CDR Leonardo Azeredo, CPT Ana Cardoso and CPT Israel, members of the Division of Translators and Interpreters (DTI) of the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB) took part in the IV INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF TRANSLATION AND INTERPRETATION OF ABRATES (Brazilian Association of Translators) in the city of Belo Horizonte – MG. During the congress, DTI officers had the chance to know Mr. Robert Ewing Finnegan – Chief of the Translation Service of the Serious Crimes Investigation Team in Timor-Leste (UNMIT). The main objective of the military personnel participation in the congress was to gain knowledge in the areas of translation and interpretation, as well as establish contact with civilian professionals who work in this field.
