MINUSTAH’s Head of Mission visits CCOPAB
On May 13, 2013, the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (acronym in Portuguese: CCOPAB) hosted Mr. Nigel Fisher, the United Nations' Head of the Mission for the Stabilization in Haiti (acronym in French: MINUSTAH) and acting Special Representative or the Secretary-General of the UN, together with Lieutenant General Roberto Severo Ramos, from the Brazilian Ministry of Defense.
MINUSTAH's Head of Mission was hosted by CCOPAB's Commander Colonel Luiz Fernando Estorilho Baganha, who spoke about the Center at its Noble Hall on topics concerning the missions developed for peacekeeping missions.
After that, the committee members visited the Combat Simulator Room at the Integration Pavilion where they were able to follow the Training System for the Use of Lethal Force, one of the training simulations developed by CCOPAB.
