Second day – EAOP- Cuiabá
On April 29, during the second day of the Peacekeeping Operations Advanced Drill, the military personnel of BRABAT 18 kept on accomplishing simulated incidents in Várzea Grande, Barra and Cuiabá-MT. They carried out patrols, faced public demonstrations and accidents with vehicles and military personnel, worked with civilians, among others. These situations are created based on visits "in loco" to the Battalion in Haiti and are as close as possible to reality.
In the afternoon, CCOPAB Commander, Colonel Baganha gave an explanation about EAOP to a delegation of Generals. This delegation was composed of COTER Commander, General Vilela, Major General Sinott from COTER, Major General Elias from the Western Military Command, Major General Maas from the 13th Motorized Infantry Brigade, as well as Canadian military personnel.
