GPOI visits CCOPAB
On 26 March, the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB) received two representatives of the US Government – Mr. Michael Larmas Smith, program director of the Global Peacekeeping Operations Initiative/ US Department of State and Mr. John P. Callan, Vice Consul, Political and Economic Section of the Consulate General of the United States of America in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
On that opportunity, the guests had the chance to know the activities of CCOPAB and to understand the training system of the use of legal force (combat simulator). Next, GPOI presented their activities and potential cooperation related to training was discussed as well.
