The 3rd Day of the CIMIC Course
The third day of the CIMIC Course started with a lecture given by Major Mc Carthy, from Chile, who spoke about "The Experiences of Chile in Peacekeeping Missions". Afterwards, Gustavo Barreto from UNIC Rio gave a lecture on "Agencies, Funds and Programs". Mr. Rubem Cezar, who was the last to speak in the morning, talked about the participation of Viva Rio in Haiti.
In the afternoon, Ms. Gisele Netto, from UN Women, gave a lecture. She was followed by Major Torrengo, from Argentina, who talked about "The Experience of the Argentinean Army in Peacekeeping Operations". Finally, Journalist Damaris Guiliana, from UNIC Rio, gave a lecture on "Media".
