Preparatory Course for Peacekeeping Missions

 On 6 and 7 of February, 2013, the Preparatory Course for Peacekeeping Missions (acronym in Portuguese: EPMP) counted on the participation of instructors with broad experience in previous MINUSTAH Staff. Those officers were invited by CCOPAB and made lectures concerning the following topics:
- CEL (Ordnance) AVERSA, from the Logistics Command (acronym in Portuguese: COLOG), Brasília-DF, on the function of MINUSTAH Chief of Staff);
- LTC (Infantry) PLÁCIDO, Commander of the 26th Airborne Infantry Battalion (acronym in Portuguese: 26º BI Pqdt), Rio de Janeiro-RJ, on the Planning Process adopted by the UN system;
- MAJ (Infantry) CASTRO, from the Brazilian Army Intelligence Center (acronym in Portuguese: CIE), Brasília-DF, on intelligence activities concerning MINUSTAH;
- LTC (Engineering) Ó DE ALMEIDA, Commander of the Engineering Battalion (acronym in Portuguese: BEsEng), Rio de Janeiro-RJ, on the engineering work done in Haiti;
- LTC (Cavalry) CARVALHO LIMA, from the Brazilian Army's Aviation Command (acronym in Portuguese: Cmdo Av Ex), Taubaté-SP, on the systematic work developed at the operations section of MINUSTAH Staff;
- LTC (Artillery) EDUARDO OLIVEIRA, Commander of the 7th Combat Artillery Group (acronym in Portuguese: 7º GAC), Natal-RN, on the duties and responsibilities of the Logistics officers.
