Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – From 20 November to 01 December 2023, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) carried out the Sectoral course for the Specific Preparation of Female Military and Police Personnel for Peacekeeping Operations (EPESFOP). The aim is to complement the knowledge of the 16 future blue helmets, among military personnel from the Brazilian Army and the State Police of Rio Grande do Sul and Tocantins. The purpose of the activity is to better train female personnel to participate in complex peace operations, which requires them, in a practical way, to have emotional control and resistance to fatigue in adverse situations, among other skills.
Salvador (BA) – Em 28 de novembro de 2023, o Centro Conjunto de Operações de Paz do Brasil (CCOPAB) iniciou os trabalhos de organização da XV Assembleia Anual da Associação Latino-Americana de Centros de Treinamento para Operações de Paz (ALCOPAZ), da qual o CCOPAB exerce a Secretaria no corrente ano, estando a presidência pro tempore a cargo do Brasil, sendo desempenhada pelo Subchefe de Operações Internacionais do Ministério da Defesa.
Nova Délhi (Índia) – No período de 06 a 24 de novembro de 2023, o Major CUNHA, Instrutor do Centro Conjunto de Operações de Paz do Brasil (CCOPAB), participou, como aluno, do Curso Training of Trainers (ToT), acerca do Módulo de Treinamento Pré-Desdobramento desenvolvido pelas Nações Unidas (Core Pre-Deployment Training Materials – CPTM), realizado nas instalações do Manekeshall Centre.

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – No dia 16 de novembro de 2023, o Centro Conjunto de Operações de Paz do Brasil (CCOPAB) recepcionou o Prof. Dr. EDUARDO HELENO DE JESUS SANTOS, Coordenador do MBA em Estudos Estratégicos e Relações Internacionais do Instituto de Estudos Estratégicos da Universidade Federal Fluminense (INEST/UFF), acompanhado do Major BRUNO FERNANDO VERGÍLIO, Mestrando do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Estudos Estratégicos da Defesa e da Segurança, daquela Universidade.
