CCOPAB instructor supports the preparation of future “blue helmets” in Canada
Kingston (Canada) - From 17 April 17 to 19 May 2023, Lieutenant Colonel (Brazilian Air Force) LUANDA DOS SANTOS BASTOS, from the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center, participated, as a guest instructor, in the United Nations Military Observer Course (UNMOC), held at the Peace Support Training Center - PSTC.
The Course was developed through several theoretical and practical instructions, which addressed the contents of the Core Pre-deployment Training Material (CPTM) and of the Specialized Training Materials (STM) for the role of UN Military Observer. In addition to 16 military personnel from Canada, there were also two soldiers from Brunei, totalling 18 students.
The participation of the Brazilian female soldier in the training of foreign students is aligned with CCOPAB's vision of the future - to be an international reference in promoting excellence in the continuous training of human resources working in peace operations and humanitarian demining missions.
