CCOPAB welcomes the new Deputy Commander
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 10 April 2023, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) carried out the presentation ceremony of Commander MARCELO PINHEIRO LOPES, from the Brazilian Navy, who will hold the position of CCOPAB Deputy Commander.
Before taking on his new role at CCOPAB, Commander (Navy) LOPES was the commanding officer of the 3rd Riverine Operations Battalion, located in Ladário-MS.
As per Ordinance No. 952 of the Minister of Defense, of 15 June 2010, which created CCOPAB, the Center must have, in its staff, members of the three Armed Forces, the Auxiliary Forces, civilians and military personnel from friendly nations, providing CCOPAB with the unique feature of INTEGRATION.
