CCOPAB welcomes Instituto Meira Mattos from ECEME

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - On 25 April 2023, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) welcomed an entourage from Instituto Meira Mattos, hereinafter IMM, of the Brazilian Army Command and General Staff College (ECEME), represented by two officers (instructors), professors and civilian students of the graduate programs for the Master and Doctor degrees on Military Sciences (PPGCM).

The visist aimed at familizarizing students with the Brazilian participation in the international scenario, mainly in UN peace missions, highlighting the role of CCOPAB, when it comes to the preparation of military, police and civilian personnel, from Brazil and friendly nations, designated to peace missions and humanitarian demining missions; in addition to the training of contingents for the Humanitarian and Logistic Task Force (Operation ACOLHIDA), as well as the preparation of troops for the United Nations Peacekeeping Capability Readiness System (UNPCRS).

CCOPAB Commander delivered an institutional lecture, and then invited the guests to visit the facilities of the Center, an opportunity in which students were able to interact with CCOPAB members of the Assessment Divison, Doctrine Division and Division of Education and Training.
