CCOPAB starts the Pedagogical Brush-up Course with the special participation of REBRAPAZ

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 13 February 2023, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) started the Level II Pedagogical Brush-up Course (ESTAP, acronym in Portuguese), to update instructors, monitors and other military personnel who is involved with the teaching-learning processes conducted by CCOPAB.

The course, which will go on until 17 February 2023, aims continuning education to CCOPAB teaching membes, promoting the updating and improvement of the pedagogical and doctrinal knowledge, necessary for the planning and execution of all teaching activities, in line with the guidelines of the Army's System of Education and Culture and the guidelines of the United Nations (UN).

The second day of the course was marked by the presence of Dr. EDUARDA HAMANN, General Coordinator of the Brazilian Peace Operations Research Network (REBRAPAZ), who delivered a lecture entitled “UN Peacekeeping Operations: Relevant Aspects and Brazilian Contributions”. At the end of the presentation, the Commander of CCOPAB offered the guest speaker the “Book of CCOPAB”, as a way to express the gratitude of Sergio Vieira de Mello Center for all the support provided by the professor and REBRAPAZ to the Center's activities.
