Instructor of CCOPAB takes National Investigation Officer Course in Australia

Melbourne (Australia) - From 26 September to 07 October 2022, Captain Thiago Brandão WUNDERLICH, instructor of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese), participated in the UN Training of Trainers Course (UN ToT) for National Investigation Officers (NIO) Course, that was held in the Peace Operations Training Centre (POTC).

The aim of the Course was to qualify instructors and professionals to serve as NIO, applying a standard methodology to investigate eventual misconducts of military personnel during their deployment to UN Peacekeeping Operations.

Apart from the presence of the Brazilian officer as well as Australian military personnel, there were also students from the following countries: Bangladesh, Cambodia, Fiji, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Senegal and Vietnam.
