CCOPAB welcomes the Head of DECEx Project Office

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 27 September 2022, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) welcomed Lieutenant General (Ret.) RYUZO IKEDA, Head of the Projects Office of the Army Department of Education and Culture.

The visit was carried out in order to check the proposals included in SERGIO VIEIRA DE MELLO Project, which aims to build and expand CCOPAB facilities, so that the Center has a compatible infrastructure that allow the execution of educational activities, regarding the Center's vision of the future - “to be an international reference when it comes to the preparation of human resources for peace operations and humanitarian demining missions”.

In addition, Major General FLAVIO ALVARENGA FILHO, Director of Military Technical Education (DETMil), accompanied the visit along with the entourage of DECEx Project Office members.
