CCOPAB delivers training to Aviation Units

Campo Grande (MS) – From 20 June 20 to 01 July 2022, a Mobile Training Team from the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center went to the city of Campo Grande-MS, in order to carry out the training of Aviation Units (IPUNAER) which have been offered by the Air Force Command to the United Nations Peacekeeping Capability Readiness System (UNPCRS).

The activity was carried out in two weeks, and divided into two phases:
- During the first phase, lasting for a week, students had classes on topics of the Core Pre-Deployment Training Material, from the Integrated Training Service of the UN Department of Peace Operations; and
- The second phase, also lasting for one week, addressed the issues of the United Nations Specialized Training Material for Military Aviation Unity (UN MAU STM 2018) and the United Nations Peacekeeping Missions Military Aviation Unit Manual, 2021.

In this edition, there were 39 soldiers from the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) - officers and NCOs in the first phase, and only aviators and infantry officers for the second phase.

Apart from CCOPAB and FAB Instructors, it is important to highlight the presentations, by means of VTC, of the Bangladesh Air Contingent (BANAIR) of the United Nations Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo (MONUSCO), and the one of the Argentine Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CAECOPAZ).
