CCOPAB delivers lecture on "Valuing Life and Suicide Prevention”
Rio de Janeiro - On March 23, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) received members of the 1st Military Region Social Assistance Section to deliver a lecture on: "Valuing Life and SuicidePrevention", in accordance with the Brazilian Army's Valuing Life Program.
The lecture was given by 2nd Lt Juliana Jesus dos Santos, Social Assistant, and by 2nd Lt Guilherme Estevam Emílio, military chaplain. The aim of the lecture was the promotion of life quality, besides the development of education, protection, prevention, and damage reduction measures for the health of all the attendees.
The first part of the lecture had CCOPAB’s personnel as target audience and the second one aimed at the young men who have recently joined the Army as recruits and that are currently going through the Basic Individual Training Instruction phase.
At the end of the session, 1st Sgt Batista, CCOPAB’s Command Adjutant, thanked the lecturers, on behalf of all Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center members.
