CCOPAB provides educational support to the Army Military Academy and Prep School as well as to the Naval Academy

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 15 March 2022, CPT Camila de Almeida Paiva, an instructor of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), delivered a lecture on “Gender Issues and Sexual Harassment in UN Peace Operations” to military personnel from Agulhas Negras Military Academy (AMAN, acronym in Portuguese), from the Brazilian Army Cadet Preparatory School (EsPCEx, acronym in Portuguese) and from the Naval Academy (EN). The event was held at the facilities of the Center for Personnel Studies and Fort Duque de Caxias (CEP/FDC, acrony in Portuguese).

Her lecture addressed the initiatives, adopted by the UN in peace missions, to prevent sexual harassment. The main objective was to provide the basis for the continuous improvement of preventive measures adopted by military academies and schools.
