CCOPAB supports the organization of the Institutional Integration Days for Civilian Teachers from DECEx
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - On 09 and 10 March 2022, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) carried out the Institutional Integration Days for civilian teachers, under the guidance of the Army Department of Education and Culture (DECEx).
The purpose of the Integration Days was to update civilian teachers on the activities developed by the Brazilian Army, contributing to the continuous evolution of Military Education, within the scope of the Army System of Education and Culture.
On 9 March 2022, Major General Carlos Eduardo Barbosa da Costa, Commander of the Advanced School for Captains, chaired the opening ceremony of the event. After that, the following speakers delivered their presentations: COL Adail Rodrigues de Assunção, Commander of the Logistics School for NCOs; COL Carlos Alberto Moutinho Vaz, CCOPAB Commander; LTC Vicente de Paulo Souza da Silva Santos, Commander of the Army Specialized Training School (EsIE); LTC Maurício José Lopes de Oliveira, Commander of the Anti-aircraft and Coast Artillery School (EsACosAAe); and PhD. Sabrina Celestino, from the Army Physical Training Center.
The 10th of March began with a general parade at the 57th Motorized Infantry Battalion (School), followed by practical activities, carried out at the Battalion's facilities and led by CCOPAB instruction team such as: navigation, daytime progression, preparation of MREs, first aid and notions of demining and explosives. At the end of the two days, a closing ceremony was held at CCOPAB Auditorium.
Twenty-five civilian teachers, from different Educational Institutions under the supervision of Head Offices from DECEx, participated in the Institutional Integration Days.
